Matthew Hyslop - I have 5 years teaching experience in English and Maths; teaching 11+ English, KS1 & KS2 English, Maths 11+ and GCSE. I have also worked as an English Teaching Assistant in a Spanish School in Spain, Seville for over a month in 2013. I am also available to teach Spanish as I have B2 Advanced Level Spanish

I ensure all my students fully understand something before moving on; I do not like to rush my students, it is important they feel comfortable with new information.  I am motivational, enthusiastic and always positive - that's how I work. I achieved a 2:1 in my Bachelor's degree of Engineering at the University of Loughborough. A* in GCSE English Literature, A* in GCSE Mathematics, A* in GCSE Spanish, A* in GCSE French. A in A Level Spanish, A in Core Maths A Level and B in Mechanics A Level (B overall).

 

Isabelle Gifford - I have a brother in year 8 at school and assisted him last year with Spanish homework on a regular basis, as well as other subjects. I enjoy the aspect of teaching and I would like to help more young students. I could also offer tutoring in French.

I can speak with ease and as a Language Undergaduate I am surrounded by speakers every day at University. I love languages, they are a great skill to have in life. I am a positive, caring person and I will always listen. I won't speak over people.I achieved  a 2:1 at the University of Nottingham in French and Spanish. A* in GCSE French and GCSE Spanish. A in A Level Spanish and French. I have visited Spain and France numerous times with the school and independently on my own.

 

Sudhakar Brodie - I have helped friends after secondary school 1 to 1 with Maths and Physics. I aim to take this further and start tutoring. I am able to help with all levels of Mathematics as I managed to achieve an A* in Further Maths. I also am able to teach Physics.

I will always listen and not speak over students when they are finding it hard to understand something. It is the best way to understand a problem in full. I am also a really positive and happy person. I have achieved a 1st Class Honours in Physics from the University of Oxford. A* in GCSE Maths. A* in A2 Further Maths and Physics.  I have a friendly, calm and patient approach to when I teach.

 

Andrew Bassett - I have 2 years of private tutoring experience; teaching 11+ Maths to 4 different primary school pupils. These pupils were pupils I obtained through my own tutor who taught me A Level Maths - he felt I was able to take on pupils for him. I have also taught 2 other secondary school pupils on and off helping them get to grip with some GCSE Maths. 

I ensure that all my students are comfortable and confident with what they are learning, and together we build on the understanding until we feel ready to move on to the next topic. There is no pressure to be made to understand something in my lessons. I have achieved a 2:1 in a Bachelor's for Mathematics from Royal Holloway. A* In GCSE Mathematics and A in A Level Mathematics.
